Bentley Car Sales On The Increase

Luxury car manufacturer Bentley has announced a 37% surge in sales during 2011, with the Crewe based company claiming that demand from customers has returned to levels experienced before the economic downturn.

Last year the firm sold 7,003 vehicles, with prices beginning at £133,000, as the US continues to be Bentley’s primary marketplace with 2,021 vehicles purchased in 2011, a rise of 32%. China is now not far behind in 2nd place after sales practically doubled to 1,839, exceeding 2010′s record.

Bentley’s chief executive, Wolfgang Duerheimer, explained that it is especially satisfying to see restored interest in Bentley coming from both established and fresh markets, which is adding to a positive result for 2011. He went on to say that Bentley wish for this success to continue with the new Continental V8 set to bring in new business in the coming year, the firm have ambitious but realistic strategies that reflect worldwide economic conditions.

December’s statistics are the second best month in its history, and the figures were enhanced through the very first deliveries of the company’s new Continental GTC model that had been released to the public during October.
